Welcome to our apartment in Mrežnička Street, tucked away in Martinovka – one of Zagreb’s most interesting central neighborhoods.
Martinovka is a fascinating mix of old and new Zagreb. Quiet residential streets and traditional low-rise houses sit just steps away from modern architecture, university buildings and some of the city’s main avenues. The neighborhood was once closely connected with Zagreb’s industrial and railway development, traces of which can still be discovered while walking around the area.
The location is especially convenient for exploring Zagreb. The Main Railway Station and the city centre are easily accessible, while nearby Vukovarska Street provides excellent tram connections to other parts of the city.
Martinovka is also home to the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), making the area an important part of Zagreb’s university and technology district.
For a relaxing walk, guests can visit the nearby Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, while the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum is another interesting attraction in this part of Zagreb.
